I was wondering, how did you find out what theme you wanted to build in?

Is there any easy/ inexpensive way to purchase non north american issued sets? Currenly TLG has released a line of amazing looking board game sets, and there will be an upcoming Christmas house set.
Last year I was aware of a movement to convince TLG to sell fans the castle advent calendar, and I got in on that. I am wondering is there is any way to convince them to do the same for the die hard fans on these kind of sets. What would the reason be for not doing that?

I found out that at BrickCon, Lego ships out damaged sets to sell at super-low prices. I can’t make the trip over to Washington, but is there any other place where lego sells their sets that got damaged in some way? (I know that I can ask someone nearby who is going to pick up sets for me, but I’d really rather not.)

I recently assembled set 7630 (Front-End Loader) and noticed the same problem as one Brickset.com reviewer (reviewing 6193 Castle Building Set):

“. . . However mine came with a big flaw: the [y]ellow bricks included were not in the same [color]. One of the yellows is brighter than the other and seems to be made from a different material.”

What is the story behind the different shades of yellow?

    Thanks
